Boon Yam graduated from National University of Singapore in 1991 with a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration. He joined the wealth management industry in 2000 after several years working as a regional manager in a multinational corporation. Boon Yam specializes in advising business families and high net worth individuals on comprehensive wealth management and succession planning.

At Azzarion Advisory Pte Ltd, he helps client set up family wealth structures and family governance to ensure peace and harmony within the family. His works also ensure sustainable wealth accumulation, preservation and protection for the business family.

Boon Yam is an active volunteer in public education on financial planning for various government and private agencies. These include speaking engagements on public forum for CPF members; being an invited guest by radio FM 95.8 to share on financial, investment and estate planning; giving his comments in Channel U – Money Mind and Channel 8 – Golden Age series. His opinion is also well sort after by the major Chinese Newspapers such as Shin Min Daily News, Lianhe Wanbao and Lianhe Zaobao. Boon Yam is also an active member in business associations. He was the vice president of ASME Mandarin Chapter and currently serves as the Honorary Council Member of World LIM Chamber of Commerce.
